She led the Mustangs in points (16.7), rebounds (7.1), assists (5.3) and steals (2.9) per game. The rebound average was four full boards per game higher than last season.

Donovan’s career totals, which now span five seasons at Irondale, are up to 138 goals and 98 assists.

Sutton, a junior on the Mounds View High School girls hockey team, was named third-team all-metro by the Star Tribune.
Three of the four winter high school sports all-star series have local representation.
The Senior Classic girls hockey all-star series included three Mounds View players: Lauren Klein, Kathryn Larson and Elli Marvin.
The Great 8 boys hockey series was held last weekend at Wakota Arena in South St. Paul. Mounds View senior center Darian Romanko played in it as a member of the Section 5AA/5A team.
Still to be played is the boys basketball all-star series. Irondale’s Jack Martinek will play in the two-day event held April 5 at St. Cloud State and April 6 at Macalester College.
The rosters for the girls basketball all-star series have yet to be announced.
