She only had one that worked. She was also cited for the equipment violation, as well as an obstructed windshield and was jailed on a Ramsey County warrant for her arrest.

A 28-year-old woman was pulled over for failure to yield to an emergency vehicle Nov. 30 at Snelling and Larpenteur avenues. She was also cited for driving after license revocation.

Runaway acronyms
 “An adult male failed SFSTs and tested .185 on the PBT. He was arrested for DUI and transported to the LEC. He tested a .15 percent BAC on the DMT.”
This actual police report is so loaded with acronyms we feel we owe our readers an explanation: so here we go:
SSFT - standardized field sobriety tests, possibly leading to further investigation of a driver’s condition:
DUI - driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol:
PBT - preliminary breath test, administered if there is reasonable suspicion that a driver is under the influence:
LEC - Law Enforcement Center; the official name of the jail in St. Paul;
BAC - blood alcohol content:
DMT - The DataMaster: state-of-the-art equipment for testing BAC.

Arrests
Alerted to a hit and run in the parking lot of the bar in the 2500 block of Rice Street Nov. 30, a deputy caught up to the SUV as it was turning into an Old County Road C driveway. The 37-year-old driver, who tested .16 percent BAC, was cited for hit-and-run and booked at the jail on a DWI charge.

Deputies received a tip on the location of a pair of suspects they had been looking for on felony warrants for their arrest. Staking out a Labore Road parking lot the night of Dec. 2, they saw the man, who had no permanent address, and the St. Paul woman, both 24, get out of a stolen U-Haul truck and enter an apartment building. Deputies followed with a K-9, knocked on the door and saw the man, who apparently had some experience with a police dog, immediately lie down on the floor, putting his hands on his head. He was booked at the jail on warrants for theft and possession of stolen property. The woman was booked at the jail on a warrant for a controlled substance violation.

Assault
A man annoyed by his girlfriend’s TV watching Nov. 30, threw her dinner into the sink, pushed her and grabbed her by the throat. The man and woman, both 53, have been in a relationship for 28 years with a long history of domestic abuse, according criminal records. She called 911 and the boyfriend fled the scene. Deputies are looking for the man.
