Out with the old

Whether you recently received a brand new flat-screen TV as a holiday gift or are planning to spend your income tax return on the latest laptop to hit the market, you’re likely left with outdated or unwanted electronics that you’d like to clear out to make space for what’s new.
The Recycling Zone in Dakota County accepts those household electronics at no cost to you. Everything from stereo equipment to desktop printers can be brought to the facility at 3365 Dodd Road, Eagan, during the following open hours:
• 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday
• Noon to 8 p.m. Thursday
• 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday
• 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday
