Center for Energy and Environment honors Roseville resident Bill Grant

On Feb. 11, the Center for Energy and Environment (CEE) honored Roseville resident Bill Grant for his regional and state clean energy achievements.
Bill Grant, Deputy Commissioner of Energy and Telecommunications for the MN Department of Commerce, has been instrumental in almost every clean energy policy enacted in MN for the last 25 years. Bill has worked on the Metropolitan Emissions Reduction Program and with Xcel Energy to clean up their metro power plants. “2014 marks the 35th anniversary of CEE and to kick of our celebration we want to honor those who have had an impact on Minnesota energy efficiency policy, programs and progress. It is the work of individuals like Bill that have allowed Minnesota to constantly move forward in energy efficiency,” said CEE President, Sheldon Strom.
