Bathtub blues
Sweethearts faced off in an apartment bathroom the morning of April 3 when a boyfriend and the girlfriend failed to find common ground. The 22-year-old boyfriend then swung the 21-year-old girlfriend around by her jacket until she fell into the tub, but he’s the one in hot water. A neighbor called 911 and the boyfriend fled the scene. A pending domestic assault charge against the man is under review by the Little Canada city attorney.

Burglary
Monitoring and recording equipment including stands, speakers, cables and a Rapco Pro Snake were taken from a rental storage unit in the first block of County Road B. When the renter visited the business March 11 for the first time in six months, he found the unit unlocked and the musical gear missing. The loss was valued at $7,861.

Felony domestic
Unpleasantness broke out in an apartment in the early morning hours of April 5, when a 38-year-old man picked up a liquor bottle and hit a 26-year-old woman several times, twice in the head. The victim called 911 and was transported to a local hospital where she learned she had suffered a hairline fracture on her arm. Deputies are looking for the man on a pending felony aggravated domestic assault charge.

Raised eyebrows
A 2004 Ford Mustang was reported stolen about 9 p.m. the night of March 29 from a garage in the 2900 block of Centerville Road. The vehicle was found in an impound lot following a single vehicle crash earlier that evening at Lexington Avenue and Hwy. 36. An investigation continues.
