Arrest
A cracked windshield is a cop’s alert to a possible lack of insurance, because windshield repair or replacement is usually covered on an auto policy. Bingo. A 39-year-old woman was pulled over April 30 at Larpenteur Avenue and Pleasant Street and cited for a cracked windshield and no insurance.

Can you say Mahtomedi?
Once the officer understood where the 21-year-old Mahtomedi man was from, the man was arrested for fourth-degree DWI. The 21-year-old, who had a BAC of .12 percent, was also cited for displaying plates from another vehicle and expired registration. He was booked at the Ramsey County Jail.
