Inver Glen Library to close during remodel wrap-up

The Inver Glen Library in Inver Grove Heights will close temporarily, beginning on June 2. Construction crews will put the finishing touches on a major remodeling project and staff need to prepare the new space for reopening in August.

The remodeling project includes adding new meeting spaces for the public, an expanded teen area, a childrenís nook and a book drop with an automatic materials handling system that sorts returned items so they can be returned for check-out again sooner.

Patrons who requested items to be picked up at the Inver Glen Library branch may pick them up at the Wentworth branch at 199 East Wentworth Ave., in West St. Paul, during the closure. Patrons may also pick up requested materials at other Dakota County library branches temporarily by requesting a new “Preferred Pickup Library” under “My Account” on the library website at www.dakotacounty.us/library or by speaking with library staff.
