Mounds View

Third-seeded Mounds View welcomed sixth-seeded Totino-Grace to Mustang Stadium last Thursday for a Section 5 quarterfinal and came away with a 14-10 victory.

The win, Mounds View’s seventh of the season, pushed them into the semifinals and a match on Monday at second-seeded Irondale. Results were not available for this edition of the Bulletin.

The Mustangs are looking to return to the state tournament for the second time in program history and first since 2010.

The semifinal winners meet for the section title on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Osseo High School. Mounds View advanced to the section final last year but couldn’t get past Armstrong.
