Jeanne Grant, North St. Paul receives Excellence in Teaching Award

Jeanne Grant, North St. Paul, associate professor of history in Metropolitan State University’s College of Arts and Sciences received an Excellence in Teaching Award for the 2012-13 academic year. Grant teaches ten courses in world and European history and researches central Europe during the early modern period. She has been published extensively in that area. She joined the Metropolitan State faculty in 2008. She holds a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and a master’s degree and Ph.D. in history from the University of California, Berkeley.
