Housley, Lohmer, Dettmer to host town hall meeting

L to R: State Sen. Karin Housley; State Rep. Kathy Lohmer; State Rep. Bob Dettmer

State Sen. Karin Housley (R-St. Mary’s Point) and State Reps. Kathy Lohmer (R-Stillwater) and Bob Dettmer (R-Forest Lake) will host a joint town hall meeting to recap the 2014 legislative session on Monday, June 30 from 7 to 8 p.m.

Housley and Lohmer’s districts include the cities of Lake Elmo and Pine Springs. The meeting will take place at the Stillwater Public Library in the Margaret River Room, 224 3rd Street N.

The town hall meeting will provide residents the chance to learn more about the 2014 legislative session and an opportunity to make comments and ask questions.

“I look forward to these town hall meetings because it gives us a chance to receive additional feedback on the work that we do in St. Paul,” Housley said. “We managed to accomplish a lot this past legislative session for those in the district even though we were in the minority.”

Lohmer also said she is looking forward to recapping this past legislative session and hearing from her constituents.
