Arrests
A driver with a suspended license and no proof of insurance also failed to signal his turn at Snelling and Midway avenues. The 34-year-old was arrested June 10 for all three offenses.

A speeder was pulled over June 12 at Snelling and Hoyt avenues and arrested for underage drinking and driving, possession of pot in a vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia.

An employee in the 1600 block of Larpenteur Avenue left his smartphone at the business June 18. When he returned, the phone was gone. Using the “find my phone” feature brought up the location and he passed it on to police. That led to the arrest of a 28-year-old female who was charged with theft. The phone was recovered.

Bad combination
The man had a suspended license and no insurance, not even any brake lights, but the police managed to catch up to the 26-year-old at Snelling and Garden avenues before he got into any further trouble.

Little Canada

Burglary
A Payne Avenue resident arrived home early the afternoon of June 10, excited about his upcoming fishing trip, until he saw that his front door had been kicked open. Ironically, it was his $1,800 electronic fish finder that had gone missing, possibly the target of the burglar.
