Aug. 5 will soon be here, so start making plans with your neighbors for this year’s event. Event hosts are encouraged to register their event with the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office by Friday, July 18. Registered events make it possible for deputies and public safety representatives to stop by.
More information, including online event registration and event planning materials, can be found on the Sheriff’s website: www.RamseyCountySheriff.us (Night to Unite link), or by contacting Ramsey County Sheriff’s Crime Prevention Services at 651-266-7338.
This year’s event will be held from approximately 6 to 9 p.m. To register for the Night to Unite, contact Sergeant Jon Mangseth by Thursday, July 31, by calling 612-782-3366 or by email at email@example.com. Please leave your name, address, phone number, approximate number of people attending, when your party will begin, and if you need barricades. For more information about the event, see the city of St. Anthony web site at www.ci.saint-anthony.mn.us and look under upcoming events.
Registration for National Night Out 2014 is now officially open. The New Brighton Police Department will be collecting backpacks, school supplies and food donations for the Ralph Reeder Food Shelf. Police officers, firefighters, elected officials and city staff will be visiting parties throughout the city.
If your neighborhood has never hosted a NNO party before, find some an empty space for neighbors to gather to meet each other and let the city know by registering your party. To register your party, visit www.ci.new-brighton.mn.us/index.asp?SEC=01E9CFED-935D-4164-9118-80FEEFE5....
