ISD 623 announces 2014-15 administrative staffing changes
Roseville Area Schools announced several administrative staffing changes at the elementary, middle and high school levels for the upcoming school year following its June 24 school board meeting.
At the elementary level, current Edgerton Elementary School principal Becky Berkas will be moving to the principalship at Central Park Elementary School. Melissa Sonnek, principal at both Marine and Withrow elementary schools in the Stillwater School District, will take the reigns at Edgerton.
At the middle school level, 11-year Roseville Area Middle School principal Dr. Juanita Hoskins will become the district’s director of equity and integration, a position that aims to eliminate the learning gap for minority students.
Dr. Jen Wilson, currently a dean at Roseville Area High School, will step in as a co-associate principal at RAMS alongside Mark Bowser. The search for a new principal to replace Hoskins was started late into the year, communications and outreach coordinator Brenda Sewell said, so current RAHS principal Dr. Jenny Loeck will be accepting a new “District Administrator on Special Assignment” position in which she will serve as the principal at both the middle and high schools.
The search for a permanent principal at RAMS will continue into next year.
Additionally, RAHS industrial technology teacher Todd Lieser will become the district’s coordinator of health and life safety, a part-time position.
