Irondale High School junior Jacob Wielinski was his team’s lone entrant at last weekend’s state swimming and diving meet and he made the most of his time in the spotlight.

Martini and Safonov, both seniors, qualified for state in four events each at Saturday’s Section 5AA meet at Minnetonka East Middle School. Both will swim two solo events and two relays.
