Judge says Behnke had ‘no reason to believe’ 2012 incident at St. Paul school was sexual
Charges alleging that two former administrators at a St. Paul school failed to report sexual abuse in 2012 were dismissed on Friday, Dec. 5.
Citing a lack of probable cause, Ramsey County Judge Leonardo Castro dismissed the case against the former principal of Linwood Monroe Arts Plus, Beth Behnke, and the former assistant principal, Craig Guidry.

Joseph Brown Thunder appointed Oct. 8

The city of Falcon Heights has appointed a new council member following the resignation of Keith Gosline this summer. 
Joseph Brown Thunder, 43, will fill the position until next fall, when a special election will be held to elect a new council member.

Cities approve preliminary tax levies

Area homes see increases in property value
Each of the four cities in the Review's coverage area -- Roseville, Falcon Heights, Lauderdale and Little Canada -- recently certified a preliminary tax levy for next year.
The proposed levies below are the maximum property-tax increases that can be implemented by the cities. While the amount of the levy cannot be increased once approved, it can be decreased between now and the Dec. 30 final approval deadline.
