Raiders ride “uneven” performance to state title

Oftentimes a fraction of a point will decide a championship at the state gymnastics meet. That wasn’t the case last Friday when Roseville won its third consecutive Class AA crown.
Roseville beat runner-up Northfield by a full point thanks in large part to a dominating performance on the uneven bars. Roseville outscored Northfield by nearly two full points on the apparatus to pull away and win the title.

Changes aplenty surrounding Irondale gymnastics

The Irondale/Spring Lake Park co-op gymnastics team is entering the seventh season of the partnership and it could be the last. Policy changes at Spring Lake Park High School could end the co-op and leave that school without a gymnastics program.
With the possibility of just one more season together, the team is looking to go out on a high note.
“If we are healthy we have an opportunity to win the conference,” said head coach Breanna Peloquin.
