South St. Paul hosts skate with Santa 12-21

Join the City of South St. Paul at Wakota Arena for the Annual Skate with Santa 4:50 p.m. to 6:10 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 21, 2014.

Strap on some skates and Skate with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Don’t have a pair of skates? Bring along a non-perishable food item and get a free skate rental. Rentals are available for $2. There will be holiday music and refreshments. Just learning to skate? Blades n Motion will be joining Santa and offering mini clinics during the holiday skate.

Trails and Tinsel Snowshoe Run/Walk 12-27

This is a family friendly event!  10am – 1 mile run and 10:30am – Family Fun Run.  Enjoy the snowy hills of the Oakdale Nature Preserve.  Prizes, hot chocolate, s'mores, sledding, and bonfire afterwards.  Price:  $7/person or $25/family - $10pp day of event.

Christmas Concert by Century Brass 12-21

A Christmas concert by Century Brass preceded by a special Christmas reading. The concert will feature 19th and 20th Century Christmas and holiday favorites from around the world arranged for brass quintet by the Canadian Brass, Tchaikovsky, Handel, Holst, Rutter, Niehaus, and Pilafian, and the Minnesotans Baldwin, Stueven, and Longley. Refreshments will be served.
