The Rochester Century Panthers were shorthanded going into the Saturday, May 3, girls lacrosse match against the Titans of Tartan.
After their 9-7 road loss to the scrappy Titans, Century head coach told his players, “You did a nice job today. I’m proud of you. ... Our defense really stepped up and did well.”
Although her team has gone more half of the regular season with only one loss, Irondale High School girls lacrosse head coach Wendy Frantz isn’t taking anything for granted.
The Knights improved their record to 7-1 with three victories, including a triple-overtime thriller, last week. Irondale begins this week tied for first in the North Suburban Conference.
