Sharon "Sherry" Laumeyer, age 78, passed away quietly and peacefully at home in New Brighton, surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Florence Modesette. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Jerry; daughter, Michelle (Jeff); sons, Terry (Cristy), Joel (Heather); grandchildren, Sadie and Max; siblings, Joe (Carol), John (Liz) and Yvonne.
Congratulations to Mendota Heights resident David Reyes, who signed a national letter of intent on April 17, to play baseball at Bemidji State University. A senior at Cretin-Derham Hall, Reyes committed to Bemidji State University last November.

Girl Scout Troop 55171, 5th graders at Kaposia Education Center in South St. Paul, has completed their Bronze Award, the highest honor a Girl Scout Junior can achieve. This award is a leadership adventure to help girls develop confidence, meet new people, and have fun while they make a difference in their world.
Rick Erickson, 48, from Plymouth, died March 21. Rick was a loving son, brother, uncle, partner and friend who was extremely loved by everyone he met. He was quick to give a helping hand and even in death, he is still giving.
Ruth Bergman, 85, of Roseville, passed away on Jan. 24. She is survived by her husband, Bob; son, John (Martha) Bergman of River Falls, Wis,; brother, Willard (Dee) Frantz of Maplewood; niece, Patricia (David) Kirchoff of Dallas, Texas and nephew, Robert Frantz of Sacramento, Calif.
