Carl E. Covey, age 59, passed away peacefully on March 16. Carl enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren. If he wasn't spending time with family, you could often find him riding his motorcycle, camping, or fishing.
Robert Charles (Bob) Bell, age 87 of Roseville, local attorney, died Feb. 10. Bob grew up in the Como Park area, graduated from Murray High School in 1944 and served in the U.S. Army, Japan, 1944 - 46.
Steven Lee Lansink, age 53, of South St. Paul, formerly of Battle Creek, Iowa, passed away on Jan. 24, at his residence.
Steven was born in Kansas City, MO., on Nov. 22, 1960, to Donald and Betty Jean (Golden) Lansink.
He grew up on a farm outside of Battle Creek, where he graduated from high school in 1979.
Long-time East Side barber Cliff Gebhard, 72, passed away on Jan. 24 after a battle with stomach cancer. (Patrick Larkin/Review)
Cliff Gebhard, long-time East Side barber, passed away Jan. 24 at St. John's Hospital at the age of 72.
Gebhard operated a successful barber shop at the corner of Minnehaha Avenue and Stillwater Road starting in 1968. It was still going strong in June 2013, but Gebhard closed it following the diagnosis that he had stomach cancer.
Edna E. Reeves, age 89, passed away peacefully on Oct. 3, from the impact of dementia. She was preceded in death by husband, Fred; parents, Arthur and Eva Boles; brothers, Marion and Claude Boles and sister, Elsie Park.
Jerome (Jerry) B. Brandel, age 88, passed away peacefully with family by his side on Sept. 28. He was born and raised on the family farm in Sleepy Eye, Minn., and upon moving to the Twin Cities, became a long time resident of West St. Paul.
