A truck hauling a large load of water overturned in Roseville around 11:30 a.m. May 6. The rig was exiting onto Snelling Avenue northbound from State Highway 36 eastbound when the incident occurred, closing down the ramp for several hours.

Around 9:10 a.m. on Thursday, May 8, an unidentified man robbed the TCF Bank branch in the Cub Foods grocery store at Har Mar Mall, 2100 Snelling Ave. N. After implying he was armed with a weapon, the robber made off with an “undetermined amount of money,” according to a statement from the Roseville Police Department.
A Little Canada man has been charged with fleeing a police officer and five counts of criminal vehicular operation after he allegedly crashed his minivan into a restaurant in Lowertown St. Paul last week.
Just before midnight on Friday, May 2, a state patrol trooper received a radio call reporting an “erratic” motorist on U.S. Highway 61 who was speeding, crossing the center line and nearly crashed into a wall, according to the criminal complaint.
Caller impersonating fictitious officer
The Ramsey County Sheriff’s Department is warning residents about an ongoing scam in Ramsey County.
The sheriff’s office has received over a dozen reports of county residents getting calls from a scam artist.

Man alleges excessive force used during arrest; seeks $500,000
Last week, a Minneapolis man filed a lawsuit against several Roseville police officers following his arrest last spring.
Victor Yair Hernandez-Rivera alleges that four officers used excessive force against him during a traffic stop that led to his arrest in May 2013, and is seeking $500,000 in punitive damages.
