Hill-Murray teams with county to build new locker rooms at Aldrich Arena


Ice Arena to construct two new locker rooms for the Hill-Murray hockey program. The James Steele Construction Company of St. Paul is removing dirt and creating a hole measuring 32 feet by 55 feet for the new addition at the county-owned arena. Lights at Polar Field: Spectators not only can see the light, but the action on the field


A new, brighter lighting system is illuminating North Stadium this autumn. The old lights, which were installed in 1965, had become so unreliable that fans and players were sometimes plunged into darkness during games. (Linda Baumeister/Review)

North High activities director Jed Helwig recently admitted he wasn't sure what really happened to fix the failing overhead lights at Polar Field, but he said it certainly was a huge success.

Bauer-Emerson Prep in North St. Paul has made its way into the headlines for a slew of reasons lately. Most recently, the start-up private school has been sued by Bauer Hockey, Inc. for copyright infringement on its name.
