There is a decent amount of turnover in terms of the teams competing in this week's Class AAA state true team track and field meet. Eight teams (five boys and three girls) that competed in last year's meet failed to qualify this season.
The Roseville Area High School track and field teams competed in last week’s Section 6AAA true team meet. The Raiders came through with some notable individual performances, but were unable to clinch a spot in this week’s state true team meet.

For the second year in a row, the Mounds View High School girls track and field team captured an event win at the Hamline Elite Meet. This year's meet was held April 24 and Mounds View senior Veronica Rasmussen came away with a gold medal.
